John and Anne’s second daughter, Ellen (Nellie) was born in New York City and was the last to be baptized at Immaculate Conception in September of 1868. She is listed in the 1880 U.S. Census (age 12) with the Nolan family.
Nellie married John Halligan, on September 4, 1888 at Our Lady of Mercy Church. The Halligan’s lived on Mead Avenue in Greenwich and had three boys Joseph (1893), Frank (1896) and Edward 1898) and a daughter Florence( 1891) who married Robert Ehret.
Nellie died from heart disease in February of 1938.
